Description

This project includes the study of pottery finds from various excavations (e.g., Athens, Butrint, Ephesus, Tarsus) and from surface surveys (e.g., Aetolia, Boeotia) in the eastern Mediterranean. This research is part of the NWO-VIDI Project (276-61-003) ‘Material Culture, Consumption and Social Change: New Perspectives for Understanding the Eastern Mediterranean during Byzantine and Ottoman Times’ (2010-2015).
